Admission, enrolment and tuition fees for the Analytical Psychotherapy and Counselling studies for the academic years 2015- 2016 and 2016-2017

– Admission exam fee: 70 RON

-Enrolment fee: 50 RON

Total fee for the four semesters: 2900 Euro

  • The tuition fee can be paid in 4 equal instalments:

1stinstalment 10thOctober 2015   750 Euro

2ndinstalment 1stFebruary 2016 –  700 Euro

3rdinstalment 1stOctober 2016 – 750 Euro

4thinstalment 1stFebruary 2017 – 700 Euro

  • A discount of 8% will be granted for full payment of the first 3 semesters.

  • A discount of 10% will be granted for full payment of the whole tuition fee.

  • 20 RON/day of delay will be charged for failure to pay the tuition fee on time.

The personal file of the candidate for the admission exam will include:

  • Enrolment form, statement;

  • The document that certifies the payment of the admission exam fee of 70 RON;

  • Bachelor’s degree diploma in notarized copy (for the graduates of 2015, a graduation certificate issued by the faculty, mentioning the average mark at the bachelor’s degree exam, will be presented until the issuance of their diploma);

  • Birth certificate (simple copy);

  • Marriage certificate (if applicable; simple copy);

  • Medical certificate;

  • Curriculum vitae;

  • 2 photographs ¾ cm (for student ID card and for hospital ID);

  • Envelope file.

Admission is limited to 30 available places.

The admitted candidates must pay the enrolment fee (50 RON) plus at least the first instalment of the tuition fee (the equivalent of 750 ) until the 10th of October 2015 the registration fee (50 RON). Thereafter, the Trainee Member Agreement will be signed.

Payment of the enrolment fee will be made at the Romanian Association of Analytical Psychology, registered with the Trade Register under number 183/ PJ/2000 having fiscal code 13877688 and current bank account numberRO17 RZBR 0000 0600 1015 5114, opened at Raiffeisen Bank, Baba Novac Agency, mentioning its destination, i.e. for admission to basic training in Analytical Psychotherapy.

Payment can be made by payment order or bank transfer.

NOTICE:

This form of postgraduate training education is addressed to the Bachelor degree graduates, in accordance with the Romanian Law no. 213 of 27.05.2004:

  • Psychology graduates, including the classes with dual major: psychology- sociology or psychology- pedagogy;

  • Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine (interns, resident physicians, specialist physicians, medical doctors (psychiatrists, general practitioners);

  • Graduates of social welfare, philosophy, pedagogy/special psychopedagogy and theology.

According to Law 213, besides the psychology graduates, all other mentioned categories can acquire competence in psychotherapy under the condition of supplementing their studies with the specified package of specialised academic subjects: Psychodiagnostics and clinical evaluation; Clinical or medical psychology; Counselling or Psychotherapy; Psychiatry or Psychopathology; Health psychology or Psychosomatics; Developmental psychology.

The current study package of the basic training program includes following subjects: Psychodiagnostics; Counselling; Psychiatry; Psychosomatics. Intensive courses can be organised on request for the other subjects.

Individuals who graduated other bachelor’s degrees than the ones mentioned may attend the studies, but they will be unable to practice.

* Applied techniques:

  • 1stSemester: Psychodiagnostics and clinical evaluation: verbal associative experiment; typological questionnaires; projective drawing in psychotherapy;

  • 2ndSemester: projective and analytical interpretation of the Rorschach cards;

  • 3rdSemester: using the symbols of fairy tales in therapy;

  • 4thSemester: playing with sand and symbol analysis in dream materials.

  • **The characteristics of the counselling vs. psychotherapy relationship will be covered in the 4thsemester by practicumdialogue techniques in counselling; the relationship between counsellor and analyser, as well as professional deontology during the practicums: 3 modules of 20 hours

*** Clinical examination and modern psychopathological diagnosis in psychiatry. Psychopharmacology.

The specific component of clinical practice is conducted at Dr. Obregia Hospital with the cooperation of two medical specialties: Psychiatry and Therapies dedicated to addictions, coordinated by two psychiatrists with teaching experience, dr. Florian Ene and dr. Diana Ene.

Timetable

Note: According to international norms of training in analytical psychotherapy, the attendance at minimum 70% of the classes is mandatory.

A timetable comprising approx. every weekend is envisaged as follows: Friday 4 hours, Saturday 8 hours, Sunday 6-8 hours.

Teachers and trainers from IAAP (International Association for Analytical Psychology) will be invited to attend the courses. There will be presentations of case studies for teaching purposes.

On completion of the courses graduates can become active members of the Romanian Association for Analytical Psychology in order to continue their training as a psychotherapist and attend the Association’s training and practical activities.

Master classes are part of the mandatory training in analytical psychotherapy, as they provide the basic methodology and clinical practice.

For accreditation as supervised psychotherapist by the College of Psychologists under the curriculum, these courses have to be accompanied by a personal analysis (which can be conducted during the courses).

Personal analysis will be conducted only with an accredited analytical psychotherapist (the list of accredited analytical psychotherapists can be found at: www.psihoterapieanalitica.ro).
